He provides strategic legal counsel to early-stage, venture-backed, and institutional clients on a wide range of corporate and healthcare regulatory matters, including commercial contracting, business model development, reimbursement strategy, federal and state regulatory compliance (fraud and abuse, HIPAA, CPOM, scope of practice, and licensure), U.S. market entry, and M&A. Sam also provides counsel on emerging legal issues related to artificial intelligence and data privacy.

Sam is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he focused on transactional studies, was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review, and participated in the inaugural Transactional Skills Program. Before joining Nixon Law Group, Sam spent several years interning with national organizations in a variety of sectors, culminating in a position at a private-equity-backed healthcare group practice.
Sam enjoys spending time with family, golfing (sometimes), exploring and cooking new cuisines, and distilling healthcare and business publications. Sam resides in Miami, Florida.
