"Respecting Privacy, Safeguarding Data and Enabling Trust"

NLG Partner Rebecca E. Gwilt will be speaking at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) DATA PRIVACY DAY forum on January 28,  2016, to commemorate and celebrate National Privacy Day. She will join guest speakers Maya Bernstein, HHS ASPE Senior Advisor for Privacy Policy and Rogelyn McLean, HHS Office of General Counsel, in a roundtable discussion on respecting privacy, safeguarding data and enabling trust. Rebecca will be sharing her perspective on the role of the government in creating a workable framework for HIPAA compliance. She will also discuss existing and emerging challenges in the private sector related to privacy and security of sensitive healthcare information.
